Job summary

An aviation maintenance company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician. The role entails performing inspections and repairs on aircraft electrical systems while ensuring compliance with technical regulations. Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Aircraft Avionic or Electrician roles.
  • 3+ years of specific electrical repair experience on aircraft.
  • Ability to attain a UAE Driving License.

Job description
Overview

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance. Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
  2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.
  3. Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; the final aim being to enable the customer\'s technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out self sufficient aircraft electrical repair capability.
  4. Carry out all assigned tasks by the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

Qualification
  • Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license or industry equivalent. High School Diploma Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
  • Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6 Years Aircraft Avionic or Electrician - Aviation Maintenance
  • Minimum of 3 Years Electrical repair on aircraft type.
  • Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on the relevant aircraft.
