Job Title: Authority Coordinator (RAK - Construction)

Location: Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), UAE

Report to: Project Manager / Construction Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Authority Coordinator to manage all interactions with local regulatory bodies and ensure smooth approval processes for our construction projects in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating RAK authority procedures and a proven track record in securing permits, NOCs, and compliance clearances in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all authority liaisons, including RAK Municipality, RAK Civil Defense, FEWA (Federal Electricity & Water Authority), Waste Management, and other relevant local agencies.
  • Coordinate end-to-end submission, review, and approval processes for permits, licenses, and project clearances.
  • Track and manage No-Objection Certificates (NOCs), authority inspections, and compliance deadlines.
  • Maintain organized records of all authority correspondence, approvals, and regulatory documents.
  • Support the Project Manager in resolving regulatory issues and ensuring project adherence to local laws and standards.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation, drawings, and reports in line with authority requirements.
  • Monitor changes in local regulations and communicate impacts to the project team.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 10 years of UAE construction experience, with at least 3 years of direct experience dealing with RAK authorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of RAK authority procedures, submission portals, and approval workflows is essential.
  • Strong network and working relationships with key contacts in RAK regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple parallel submissions.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
Salary Range

AED 11,000 – AED 13,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
