Job summary

A leading FMCG manufacturer in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety and hygiene systems within the plant, oversee quality audits, and investigate customer complaints to improve product quality. A management degree or post graduate diploma in business administration with specialization in quality management is required, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience. This position offers an opportunity to drive quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Job description

AM QA is responsible to ensure that appropriate safety and hygiene systems in the plant as well as factory are in place and are adhered to by all concerned.

  • To ensure quality of output through appropriate intervention, inspection and testing to pre-determined quality parameters.
  • To design and Install appropriate Quality Management Systems encompassing receipt and storage of RM/PM, in process material , material handling, storage and dispatch of FG.
  • To provide periodic feedback on vendors and suppliers to purchase manager for vendor upgradation and certification.
  • To initiate and document process activity and flow including certification for GMP and customer requirements.
  • To ensure integrity of quality analysis through appropriate training, instrumentation and testing protocols.
  • To carry out Quality Audits of Finished Goods on retail shelf and institute appropriate measures for product integrity throughout its shelf life.
  • To ensure appropriate systems for Safety and Hygiene are followed in all areas of the factory to prevent the occurrence of accidents, occupational illnesses and to prevent contamination of material quality.
  • To investigate Customer and Consumer complaints to improve production process, product quality and functionality
KPIs
  • Ensure Food Safety & Quality of RM, PM & FG inprocess.
  • Cost Saving / FOH Lab cost
  • Adherence to Product Quality through Effective Process Control, thereby reduce customer complaints.
  • Arrange and deliver trainings on GHP & Food Safety
Work experience requirement

5-8 years of experinece in similarrole from medium to large sized FMCG manufacturing company.

Qualification

Technical or functional qualification with Management Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Quality Management / Operations Management
