Designation - Associate Manager Accounts

Reporting to Finance Manager

Experience Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in UAE.

Qualification: CA Intermediate

  • Others : Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office applications specially in Excel
  • Working knowledge of any ERP
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Multitasking with hands on experience of leading a team.
  • Driving License with own Vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead UAE accounts team and India support office to get the accounting transactions of all locations recorded into the ERP on a real time basis complying UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Requirements.
  • Review the roles and responsibilities of accounts team members on a continuous basis to assess the workload of each accounts staff give trainings and develop documents listing the responsibilities of each accounts staff and workflows.
  • Identify costs incurred for group companies by each group company and coordinate with the responsible persons to raise intercompany invoices monthly to comply with corporate tax compliance requirements.
  • Review the existing agreements and/or design new agreements/contracts for transactions with all related parties for tax compliance requirements.
  • Handle the VAT compliance requirements for all companies including filing of VAT returns in coordination with the accounts department of the company and VAT consultants.
  • Ensure that the inventories and the respective bill of entries are always reconciled with UAE customs records by preparing monthly reconciliation statements and periodic physical verification.
  • Keep track of all fixed assets of the company by complying all customs/tax requirements and verify the same by periodical physical verification.
  • Keep updated with working knowledge of excel in an advance level and train all accounts staff to apply the excel functions to all work-related areas to the maximum extent possible by exploring the potential areas for application of the excel functions/formulae.
  • Handle the banking and payroll functions and provide proper assistance and supports during all types of audits of the Company.
  • Learn and understand the ERP software of the company in a very advanced level and give proper training and supports to all accounts staff on a continuous basis.
  • Identify potential areas of improvements in accounts department by properly utilizing the ERP and the support office of the company and introduce fresh systems/procedures/controls as may be required.
  • Assist the Finance Manager of the company by preparing various financial and MIS reports.
Salary
  • AED 7500 to 10000 per month based on qualification and experience.
