Henkel Adhesive Technologies is seeking an Associate Account Manager to drive growth across Filtration, Special Vehicles, Furniture, Metal, and General Manufacturing industries in the UAE. In this role, you will expand the adoption of Henkel’s industrial adhesive solutions, build strong customer partnerships, and deliver both technical and commercial value. Through consultative selling, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help secure sustainable business growth and support profitability across key industrial accounts.
What you´ll do
- Manage and grow a strategic portfolio of customers across Filtration, Special Vehicles, Furniture, Metal, and General Manufacturing, aligning with commercial and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies while monitoring performance to drive sales growth, market share, and margins.
- Identify new business opportunities across production lines, applications, and customer processes.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand customer operations, production needs, and challenges.
- Analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and sector-specific innovations to inform customer strategy and solution positioning.
- Lead technical and consultative selling to address customer challenges using Henkel’s adhesive technologies and value‑added services.
- Collaborate with Technical and R&D teams to support product trials, testing, troubleshooting, and portfolio adjustments with innovative solutions.
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of account plans and projects.
- Support pricing and value‑based selling strategies to secure sustainable margins and reinforce Henkel’s premium positioning.
- Deliver product training, presentations, and technical support to customer engineering, production, and procurement teams.
- Track and report on key account KPIs, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in relevant industrial sectors in the UAE.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert business opportunities into sustainable revenue.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex technical solutions in clear, customer‑friendly terms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to spot and pursue growth opportunities.
- Solid understanding of adhesive technologies and industrial chemistry, with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
- Experience in commercial strategy, including pricing, contract negotiation, and CRM‑based reporting and governance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM platforms.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage, with strong cross‑cultural communication skills relevant to the UAE market.
