Overview

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is a 5‑star luxury hotel located in the heart of downtown Dubai, featuring 1,608 rooms, two towers, a rooftop pool, fitness centre, SPA, ten restaurants and lounges, and an 80,000‑sq‑ft event venue with stunning city views.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff, determining presentation, portioning, arrangement, and garnish of food.
  • Monitor food quantity and inventory; notify management of menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and quality issues.
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating kitchen and F&B staff.
  • Implement company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean, professional, and consistent with brand standards.
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and product records; manage supplies.
  • Serve guests’ service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Support team to reach common goals, listen and respond to concerns of other employees, and adhere to quality expectations.
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: 4–6 years in a similar role.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None required.
