Due to a strong pipeline of projects our Abu Dhabi team is rapidly growing and we are seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer/ Senior Site Electrical Engineer Dry Utilities (Infrastructure) to undertake an infrastructure project. The project is based in Madinat Zayed.

• In this role you will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team across a variety of infrastructure buildings transport and other project types. This role will see you involved in
• will assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the daytoday activities on the project: participate in review and approval of all submittals by the contractors and involves in the quality control and quality assurance. Under the supervision of the RE or MEP Lead
• performs routine inspection monitoring tasks to confirm if proper construction supervision is being performed by others.
• Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes standards and specifications.
• Document nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution
• Assisting the Resident Engineer in overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring adherence to project specifications and local regulations.
• Reviewing and analyzing technical drawings specifications and other project documents.
• Conducting regular site inspections and preparing detailed reports on project progress.
• Collaborating with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
• Monitoring and reporting on project budgets schedules and quality control measures.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Participating in project meetings and communicating effectively with team members and clients.
• Assisting in the preparation of change orders contract modifications and other project documentation.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable construction practices.

What you will bring to the team

• Degree in Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
• Min of 10 years postgraduate experience and a min. of 7 years of similar work experience on large projects.
• Regional experience is preferred.
• Authority registration is preferred.
• A professional who can manage and coordinate specialized activity discipline or team of moderate size and complexity.
• UAE Driving License.
• Good communications skill & relationship building.
• Must have experience in Infrastructure projects.
