Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer for civil cable projects. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in the UAE and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will assist the Resident Engineer in site inspections, technical coordination, and ensuring that all works comply with approved documentation and safety standards. Candidates with TRANSCO approval will be preferred.

Assistant Resident Engineer Civil Cable

Location: Abu Dhabi UAE

Assist the Resident Engineer as required in accordance with the requirements of the project by regular site visits inspections etc. liaison with and coordinate with all technical disciplines attend Site Technical Coordination Meetings to discuss Contractor(s) submissions Shop Drawings and construction related matters Inspect and monitor the work done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted practice ensure compliance with approved method statements and drawings layouts etc. Witnessing the site activities and testing assist the Resident Engineer in the carrying out of the final inspection for certification of completion and handing over of the works and ensure that safety measures on site are adequate.

Experience Min 8 Years in UAE
Qualification BE in Civil Engineering
Preference Earlier TRANSCO approval
