The Assistant Marketing Manager at Mercans supports the planning and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for a global payroll outsourcing and SaaS organization. This role focuses on digital marketing execution, brand development, go-to-market support, and campaign performance, contributing to increased brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
Working closely with Sales, Product, Digital, and external partners, the Assistant Marketing Manager ensures an integrated and data-driven marketing approach aligned with Mercans global business objectives.
Support the execution of data-driven digital marketing campaigns for payroll outsourcing and SaaS solutions. Assist with SEO, PPC, content marketing, and lead generation initiatives to improve online visibility and customer acquisition. Track performance metrics and support ROI analysis.
Support the creation and distribution of thought leadership content including blogs, case studies, newsletters, and customer success stories. Assist in positioning Mercans as an industry leader through consistent, high-quality messaging.
Assist in developing and executing GTM strategies for product launches and new offerings. Conduct research on target markets, buyer personas, and value propositions. Coordinate cross-functional execution with Sales, Product, and Digital teams, and monitor GTM KPIs.
Support brand awareness campaigns to strengthen Mercans positioning as a leading global payroll and SaaS provider. Assist in managing internal and external communications, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints.
Support SEO strategy execution through keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking. Assist in improving website structure, content performance, and search rankings using data-driven insights.
Assist in coordinating engagements with industry analysts, including briefings and research participation. Track analyst reports and insights to support market positioning and credibility.
Support strategic partnerships with HCM, WFM, and technology providers. Assist in joint marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and partner campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Assist with budget tracking, campaign reporting, and coordination with PR agencies to increase media coverage and brand visibility.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of marketing experience, preferably in global payroll, HR tech, SaaS, or outsourcing environments.
Strong understanding of B2B marketing, digital campaigns, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally.
Experience in a global, high-growth SaaS or payroll outsourcing organization.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
Exposure to industry analyst relations, partnerships, or alliance marketing.
