Overview
As the Assistant Manager for Capital and Liquidity Management, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Capital & Liquidity Management. You will collaborate closely with internal departments including Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Data Management, as well as external regulatory bodies such as the CBUAE. Your role is pivotal in supporting the Bank’s capital and liquidity strategies through data analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit capital adequacy reports to CBUAE (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Monitor and analyze capital ratios to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support capital strategy development and implementation.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Prepare liquidity reports for senior management (daily to annual).
- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate liquidity impacts.
- Respond to CBUAE information requests.
- Develop reports and presentations for senior management and the board.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Drive improvements in Finance MIS and reporting processes.
- Promote a high-performance culture within the Finance team.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CPA, CFA, FRM, MBA) are a plus.
- 3–5 years in Finance, Treasury, Risk, or Compliance roles.
- 5–8 years of total professional experience.
- Exposure to banking or financial services industry preferred.
