About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Director – Security Administration to join the resort’s Security team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Operational Oversight: Lead operations with independent decision-making under pressure, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.
  • Benchmarking & Improvement: Conduct studies to identify and implement industry best practices; regularly review and enhance existing procedures.
  • Technology & Systems: Research and recommend new technologies to boost operational efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and strategic objectives with measurable KPIs.
  • Resource Planning: Design manpower and equipment schedules to optimize performance and resource use.
  • Budget & Procurement: Prepare budget forecasts, submit purchase orders, and ensure alignment with financial plans.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with government and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and coordination.
  • Security Team Management: Supervise recruitment, training, and performance of the Security Administration Team.
  • Staffing & Scheduling: Monitor and optimize staffing levels, track daily coverage, and address shortfalls efficiently.
  • Training & Development: Lead training programs for new and existing officers, including leadership and HR development initiatives.
  • Incident Review: Analyze incidents to evaluate and improve procedures and training effectiveness.
  • Administrative Leadership: Oversee scheduling, certifications, and gear accountability for specialized teams.
  • Policy & Curriculum Updates: Maintain and update security policies and training curriculums regularly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build cross-departmental relationships and represent security in organizational meetings.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Analyze operational feedback, prepare After Action Reports, and perform additional duties as assigned.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality security; UAE experience preferred.
  • Leadership & Management: Strong leadership, team management, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in executive‑level interactions.
  • Analytical & Organizational Skills: Self‑starter with strong analytical thinking and organizational abilities.
  • Project Management: Skilled in program and project management, with attention to detail and timely delivery.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing business demands.
