Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to handle day-to-day accounting data entry in QuickBooks Online. The role is execution-focused and suited for someone who understands accounting basics and can keep books clean and accurate without hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter daily transactions in QuickBooks (sales, expenses, receipts, payments)
  • Create, review, and maintain the Chart of Accounts
  • Record bank, cash, and cheque transactions accurately
  • Assist in bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
  • Support the accounts team with routine bookkeeping tasks
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, ledgers)
  • Experience in preparing and structuring a Chart of Accounts
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic Excel knowledge preferred
Experience
