Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect & Project Manager with expertise in interior design materials selection and cost management to oversee the full lifecycle of a residential renovation or new construction project. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of design material selection contractor oversight and budget control ensuring that the project is delivered on time on budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and functional architectural designs for residential spaces ensuring compliance with local building codes and zoning laws.
• Produce detailed blueprints technical drawings and 3D models using industrystandard software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit or SketchUp).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their vision lifestyle needs and design preferences.
• Advise stakeholders on the selection of finishes fixtures and materials such as tiles faucets countertops sinks lighting cabinetry flooring and more.
• Source durable and costeffective materials that align with both the budget and aesthetic preferences.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the contractors and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the entire construction process from initial planning to final handover ensuring the project stays on schedule.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and ensure alignment with design plans.
• Prepare detailed project budgets including materials labor and contingency costs ensuring transparency for the client.
• Track and monitor all expenses throughout the project ensuring no cost overruns.
• Work with contractors to negotiate fair pricing and avoid any unnecessary markups on labor or materials.
• Select and vet contractors ensuring they have a strong reputation for quality work and fair pricing.
• Hold contractors accountable to the agreedupon timeline quality standards and budget.
• Resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the project in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure all designs and construction comply with relevant building codes zoning regulations and safety standards.
• Obtain and manage necessary permits for the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Additional certification or coursework in Interior Design or Construction Project Management is a plus.
• Minimum of 57 years of experience in residential architecture interior design and construction project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering residential projects from conception to completion.
• Experience in materials sourcing and cost control in residential construction.
• Proficient in architectural design software (AutoCAD Revit SketchUp) and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and finishes including plumbing electrical and structural systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients contractors and vendors.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
• Ability to problemsolve and make quick informed decisions when challenges arise.
