Job description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

• To acquire specialized skills under the sponsorship of the flydubai Maintenance & Engineering department and provide assistance to the team in tasks that contribute to overall maintenance objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engages in continuous learning and skill development through on-the-job training, formal education, and workshops, aiming to enhance technical knowledge and expertise.
• Studies aviation regulations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures required for different aircraft types, engaging in comprehensive familiarization to ensure adherence and proficiency.
• Engages in the process of learning to handle and maintain specialized tools, equipment, and machinery used in aircraft maintenance while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assists with maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections periodically in a logbook as per aviation regulatory requirements.
• Adheres to quality control measures and standards, to ensure that all maintenance activities meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
• Collaborates with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and technicians to efficiently complete tasks and contribute to the overall maintenance objectives.
• Adheres to flydubai safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

ISR REQUIREMENTS

• Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
