If you thrive in a collaborative, technically challenging environment and enjoy solving complex operational problems that directly improve healthcare outcomes, this role is for you.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability and availability of Orion Health applications.
  • Developing and executing strategies to prevent and mitigate system failures.
  • Responding to incidents escalated from Tier 2 Support Analysts, diagnosing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to minimise downtime.
  • Conducting post‑incident reviews to identify improvements and enhance future reliability.
  • Implementing robust monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.
  • Automating routine operational tasks and applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborating with development teams to optimise application performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve resource utilisation.
  • Conducting capacity planning to ensure infrastructure can meet current and future business demands.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing software upgrades into client solutions, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Partnering with Product, QA, Solutions, and client teams to understand release dependencies and deliver smooth transitions.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and reliability within the delivery pipeline.

  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools — Ansible a bonus.
  • Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Strong analytical thinking and logical problem‑solving abilities.
