Danat Al Emarat combines world-class medical care with top-tier hospitality standards, providing VIP suites and specialized services for local and international patients.

Clinical Intelligence Data Analyst will support the Quality and Patient Safety team at Danat Al Emarat Hospital. Responsible for analyzing clinical data to drive performance improvement and meet regulatory reporting needs. Role involves cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights that enhance patient care quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and analyze complex datasets to create actionable insights for Quality and Patient Safety.
  • Use programming languages such as SQL to create and refine database queries.
  • Participate in the development of data models.
  • Present insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Extract, interpret and visualize reports, scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide data for accreditation and regulatory reporting and audits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems and/or Business Administration or other related field or years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years of data analysis and report generation in hospital or healthcare facility.
  • Proven track record of using SQL to develop complex queries from the electronic medical record. Working knowledge of JAWDA Data abstraction and validation.
  • Maintain knowledge of clinical risk management databases and systems to allow for automated reporting.
  • Proficiency with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Understand and follow facility data governance policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of clinical and regulatory standards.
