Overview

Amazon Supply Chain Manager Texas Hotel Management•AE

This is a full time, remote and permanent position as per the US Central timezone We are seeking an experienced Amazon Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strong focus on sourcing high-quality, cost-effective products from China across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in supplier negotiations, procurement strategies, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring seamless product availability for our Amazon business.

Responsibilities
  • Product Sourcing & Supplier Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers from platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, Global Sources, Made-in-China, and direct factory contacts.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and lead times to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance.
  • Conduct factory audits and due diligence to ensure suppliers meet Amazon FBA standards and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and priority support.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination Manage the end-to-end procurement process including purchase orders, production timelines, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners for international shipping (Air, Sea, Express).
  • Ensure smooth customs clearance, duties, and compliance with Amazon FBA guidelines.
  • Track shipments proactively and resolve delays to maintain healthy inventory flow.
  • Inventory Planning & Demand Forecasting Monitor Amazon inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Implement inventory replenishment strategies aligned with sales velocity and seasonality.
  • Utilize Amazon Seller Central/FBA tools to optimize restock limits and maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Quality Control & Compliance Oversee pre‑shipment inspections, product testing, and packaging requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon regulations, international trade laws, and product safety standards.
  • Implement risk management measures to mitigate issues related to product defects, supplier delays, or logistics disruptions.
  • Process Optimization & Reporting Continuously improve sourcing, procurement, and logistics processes for cost savings and faster lead times.
  • Provide regular reports on supplier performance, landed costs, and inventory health.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align supply chain with business growth targets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Amazon FBA/FBM supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese sourcing platforms (Alibaba, 1688, Global Sources, Made-in-China).
  • Hands‑on experience with logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, Excel, and supply chain management tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Mandarin proficiency (preferred but not mandatory).
