Overview

Kotlin/Java Software Engineer — Research, style and advancement for cutting edge mobile interactions services using Kotlin, Akka, Gradle, Gitlab and Docker. Grow Domain Driven Design, Responsive Architecture, and Actor-based systems. Build CI/CD pipelines, system tests, integration tests and end-to-end tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with expert programmers, system architects and product managers to deliver high-quality technology services.
• Design and implement architecture and code in Kotlin/Java with a focus on reactive, actor-based and DDD approaches.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and perform system, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, contributing to Agile processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Kotlin and Java software development.
• Experience with functional programming, message-based communication, Reactive programming, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to review documents and produce tools based on specifications.
• Self-directed with strong planning and execution skills; team player in Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
