Accounting & Finance Lead Opportunity Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in alignment with GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support data-driven decision making.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, growth projections, and capital allocation.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and banking relationships.
• Implement and enhance internal controls, accounting processes, and financial policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting in cooperation with external advisors and auditors.
• Support cross-functional teams on financial matters including pricing, client contracts, vendor negotiations and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications for Accounting & Finance Leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS and regulatory requirements relevant to fintech or financial services operations.
• Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and experience working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to manage month-end close processes, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for conveying financial information to diverse audiences.
• Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging automation tools is a strong plus.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, growth-oriented and technology-driven environments.
