Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Musaffah. The successful candidate should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, and have the ability to analyze financial information to make sound decisions. They should also be well-versed in UAE taxation laws and regulations. We welcome foreign applicants.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
  • Compile data for financial reports or entries into various accounts
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable activities
  • Reconcile bank statements and review transactions for accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Audit financial documents or operations to assess compliance with established internal control standards
  • Research any discrepancies in records or reports
  • Prepare tax returns and provide advice on tax planning matters
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
  • Develop strategies to improve the overall efficiency of the accounting process
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting
  • Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
