Accountant (Textiles & Manufacturing) Location: Ajman New Industrial Area, UAE Company: Kamani Textiles LLC Employment Type: Full-time (2-Year Renewable Contract)

The Role

We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our trading and manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a "noticeable" track record in the UAE market, capable of handling end-to-end accounting—from complex payroll for 80+ staff to strict VAT and UAE corporate tax compliance and financial reporting.

Along with that we are also looking for a skill for administrative work like visa processing and etc.

Important: Work Schedule (Split Shift) This role requires a mandatory split-shift schedule to align with market trading hours.

Morning Session: 09:00 AM – 01:30 PM

Break: 01:30 PM – 04:00 PM (2.5 Hours)

Evening Session: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Ajman Industrial Area are highly preferred to accommodate the break time comfortably.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll & Staff Compensation

    Process accurate monthly salaries for an operation of 80+ employees through WPS.

    Calculate overtime, allowances, leave settlements, and end-of-service benefits in strict compliance with UAE Labor Law.

  2. VAT & Tax Compliance

    Manage full-cycle VAT accounting: filing quarterly returns, reclaiming input VAT on imports, and ensuring all documentation is FTA-compliant. In addition also be thorough in UAE corporate tax structure.

    Maintain organized tax records for potential audits.

  3. Payables & Receivables (AP/AR)

    Receivables: Manage aging reports, issue statements of accounts, and follow up on collections from wholesale customers across the GCC.

    Payables: Handle international vendor payments (suppliers in Pakistan, India, China) and settle local operational expenses on time.

  4. General Ledger & Reporting

    Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) to provide management with clear visibility on performance.

    Maintain the General Ledger, perform daily bookkeeping, and conduct weekly bank reconciliations.

    Manage inventory valuation for imported stock and local manufacturing output.

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the Textile, Trading, or Manufacturing sectors in the UAE.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. (Professional certifications like ACCA/CPA are a plus).

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (Tally Prime, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).

Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE VAT regulations and Labor Law.

Language: Fluency in English is required; Urdu/Hindi proficiency is an advantage for internal communication.

UAE Tax & Statutory Requirements:

  • VAT: Proven experience in FTA portal management, VAT return filing, and handling FTA audits for trading companies.
  • Corporate Tax: Working knowledge of the UAE Corporate Tax Law, including taxable income adjustments and filing requirements.
  • WPS Compliance: Expert in processing payroll via the Wage Protection System for large workforces (80+ headcount).
  • Labour Law: Solid understanding of UAE Labour Law regarding Gratuity (EOSB), annual leave, and social security for UAE Nationals.
  • Certification: Preference for FTA Certified Tax Agents or candidates with ACCA/CPA/CA qualifications.
