About the Role

Carrier UAE is seeking a seasoned Account Manager ABOUND Digital Solutions to accelerate the growth of Carrier/Abounds advanced digital controls and energy‑managed services. This role you will be responsible for driving business development, developing strategic partnerships and supporting market expansion for Carrier/Abound digital offerings across key sectors such as multi‑site retail quick‑service restaurants and commercial & industrial real estate.

The future of buildings starts with Abound, a suite of digital solutions combined with managed services. Abound leverages advanced IoT cloud and AI technologies to aggregate, analyse and visualise building data delivering outcome‑based results that enhance building efficiency, reduce operating costs and improve the health and safety of indoor environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Carrier/Abound market entry into the UAE and enabling in‑country teams to support product launches and business growth.
  • Developing and executing Carrier/Abound sales strategies for SaaS and Managed Services aligned to regional business objectives.
  • Managing deal pipelines and achieving revenue goals with accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Identifying and pursuing new digital solutions business opportunities in strategic sectors including Multi‑site Retail, QSR, Education, Healthcare and Commercial Real Estate.
  • Building and maintaining customer pipelines, conducting needs assessments and developing strong relationships with decision‑makers to drive customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborating with property owners, operators and facilities management stakeholders to deliver solutions addressing key challenges such as energy optimisation, maintenance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Working with regional and local Carrier/Abound teams to develop tailored solutions, detailed proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure successful service execution.
  • Coordinating with product engineering and service delivery teams to design custom solutions for clients.
  • Engaging with in‑country partners and distributors to execute joint sales pitches, demonstrations and proposal development.
  • Collaborating with marketing, legal, finance and operations teams to develop campaigns, pricing models and service transition plans.
  • Creating and executing partner enablement programmes including training tools and support for effective channel sales.
  • Conducting market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies while continuously refining sales tactics.
  • Traveling within the UAE to meet clients, support partners and represent Carrier at conferences and industry events.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates who bring solid experience, technical depth and strong market relationships:

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering is a must; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in Building Technologies, Automation, SaaS and Energy/Facilities Managed Services in the UAE market.
  • Proven experience in Energy Management Services, ESCOs and sustainability standards.
  • Strong C‑suite relationships in QSR chains; retail, commercial and industrial building operators; ESCOs; and FM companies.
  • Strong exposure to IoT, Cloud, AI and SaaS implementations.
  • Extensive network in commercial real‑estate environments across campuses, multi‑site retail, QSR and industrial sectors.
  • Solid understanding of smart building solutions, managed energy services, HVAC/chiller systems and enterprise applications.
  • Experience in energy optimisation practices, measurement & verification and remote monitoring / managed services sales.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions and value propositions to senior stakeholders including consultants, contractors and facilities engineering managers.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving, strategic thinking, presentation, communication and writing skills.
