Job summary

A leading marine services company is seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer for an offshore role in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience on a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge and hold a 2nd Engineer III/2 certification. Responsibilities include assisting the Chief Engineer, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing engine performance. This is a project-based deployment with expected mobilization in late April.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as 2nd Engineer on similar type of vessel (SPJUB).
  • COC Requirement: from a national or white-listed country.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and pollution prevention standards.
  • Monitor and manage engine performance and system operations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Keep accurate records and reports of engine performance and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with deck and engineering teams for smooth vessel operations.
