Job summary
A recruitment agency in Centurion is seeking a Litigation Attorney to handle general litigation matters. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English, possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, and have 2-5 years of post-admission experience. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are essential for commuting. The salary is R30,000 – R35,000 gross monthly based on experience.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years post admission experience in General Litigation required.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle necessary.
- Stable employment record and contactable employer references needed.
Responsibilities
- Attend to Litigation matters for the law firm.
- Perform general attorney duties including client liaison and court appearances.
- Compile legal documents and liaise with clients in Afrikaans and English.
Skills
Education
Minimum Requirements:
- Well presented and professional (Male preferred)
- Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English a must (Afr & Eng client base)
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree completed and admitted as an Attorney a must
- 2 to 5 years post admission experience in General Litigation a must (Non-negotiable key requirement)
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle a must
- Residing within daily commuting distance from Centurion
- Stable employment record and contactable employer references a must
- To start as soon as possible
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attending to Litigation matters for Law firm
- General Attorney duties (client liaison, court appearance etc.)
- Compiling of legal documents and client liaison in both Afrikaans and English
Salary: R30 000 – R35 000 gross maximum (depending on post admission Litigation experience).
