Job summary
A hospitality management company located in Franschhoek seeks a Waiter to deliver an exceptional dining experience aligned with high standards. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in high-end restaurants, knowledge of wine and cocktails, and excellent customer service skills. This role requires proficiency in POS systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications
- At least 2-years waitering experience in a high-end Fine Dining Restaurant.
- Hotel Restaurant experience beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
- Understand the sequence of service and anticipate guest needs.
- Be fully aware of your table allocations and guest requirements.
- Inform the kitchen of any guest food requirements or allergies.
- Have complete knowledge of the menu and wine list.
- Assist guests with non-menu requests.

The Waiter is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience in line with Leeu Collection standards. This role ensures that guests receive warm, professional, discreet yet efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage presentation.
- Matric
- Wine certificate course would be beneficial
- At least 2-years waitering experience in a high-end Fine Dining Restaurant (Hotel Restaurant experience beneficial).
- Proficiency in POS systems (Easipos preferred).
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverages.

- Assist guests with non-menu requests, responding positively and accommodating where possible.
