Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Cape Town CBD

Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 (depending on experience)

The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and profitable operations while upholding high standards of food, service, and health and safety. This front‑of‑house role requires a professional with a friendly, confident presence who can engage warmly with guests and lead a team effectively.

• Minimum Matric or an equivalent qualification
• Computer literate (Excel and Word)
• Pilot POS experience is advantageous
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Additional local or international languages are beneficial
• Previous restaurant management experience is essential
• Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills
• Own transport essential
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Sober and honest habits
• Contactable references
• Willing to undergo a polygraph test if required

• Manage daily restaurant operations
• Greet and host guests, manage reservations
• Ensure adherence to company uniform and service standards
• Prepare shift and weekly reports, including staff and food control
• Oversee stock takes (food, beverage, and operational)
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment
• Liaise confidently with guests and colleaguesDisplay attention to detail and a can‑do attitude
