• Co‑ordinate Café's daily Barista operations.
• Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures.
• Stay current on coffee trends.

Job description

Located: Burgundy Estate, Cape Town

Tasks

• Handle the FOH service and standards of the Café.
• Take complete ownership / responsibility for your section / tables – cleanliness / set-up.
• Follow instructions / checklists to conduct service preparations and flow.
• Co‑ordinate Café's daily Barista operations (Barista opening and closing procedures / drinks stock control / flow of service / general communication) in totality from opening to close of business.
• Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures to ensure service excellence and consistency of Barista duties.
• Stay current on coffee trends, share the knowledge and display the culture & art of this industry.
