About the Company

Position

Process Technologist – you will play a key role in optimising manufacturing processes. Provide critical technical support to daily operations, guide strategic process decisions, lead research and product development trials, and spearhead continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and achieve best‑cost production.

Minimum Requirements

BTech / BSc in Process, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience within an industrial environment with light/medium manufacturing equipment, including on‑line involvement with occasional lab interaction. Industrial OSHA knowledge (PPE, risk identification, mitigation) combined with a strong understanding of environmental impacts, including chemical spillages, formaldehyde release, and combustion emissions. Strong computer and data analysis skills (MS Office, SAP, production systems) paired with the ability to independently plan, organise, report, facilitate training, and maintain accurate records. Willing and able to work within a 24/7 continuous manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related manufacturing process environment is also favourable. Lean‑manufacturing knowledge/experience is advantageous.

Duties
  • Production Improvements – Drive production improvements by introducing enhanced or new processes, work methods, and product developments.
  • Support production managers in implementing improved or new processes during process interruptions.
  • Provide training and guidance to personnel on improved work methods.
  • Technology Implementation – Ensure the successful implementation of technology improvements in line with required change‑modification procedures.
  • Standards and Guidelines – Establish and maintain technical guidelines, standards, and regulations to develop, refine, and optimise the technical infrastructure (R&D, process improvements, and new product development) in support of the overall technical strategy.
  • Consultancy / Support – Advise and support functions at the production–customer interface on technical questions and issues.
  • Provide technical input and support to sales teams and customers to enhance understanding of processes affecting production and product quality.
  • Technical Information – Supply accurate technical information to support effective production and sales decision‑making.
  • Review and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for raw and upgraded products to ensure realistic consumption levels and production rates.
  • Quality Management Standards – Support and review quality assurance practices in alignment with ISO Quality Management System requirements.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  • Operational Cost – Identify and explore opportunities to optimise production methodologies to improve operational costs.
