Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams on IT projects. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, document BRDs/FRDs, and support successful delivery using Agile/Scrum and SDLC best practices.

You will analyze processes, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA, and PMs. Remote work from the USA is supported; 7+ years of BA experience and strong data skills (SQL) are expected,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Strong requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The candidate will gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support successful delivery of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and process flows.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Analyze current and future business processes and recommend improvements.
• Work with Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
• Perform data analysis and validate requirements using SQL.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
• Maintain requirements traceability and project documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
