Build-A-Bear in Alabama is seeking a Chief Workshop Manager to lead the workshop, drive guest satisfaction, and manage a high-performing team. The role emphasizes achieving financial goals, adherence to brand standards, and strong hiring and development practices.

The position requires coaching, scheduling, payroll management, and ensuring operational excellence across merchandising and inventory processes within a retail environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of management experience with a proven, successful history in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using common store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance)

Responsabilidades

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders, ensuring a Guest experience that reflects the Experience First culture.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with the AWM, directing work and priorities.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the AWM; enforce policies and brand standards.
• Lead and inspire the team during shifts, manage security, cash handling, and confidentiality per policy.
• Ensure displays adhere to brand standards and maintain a cohesive store environment.
• Oversee inventory processes including receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Develop a high-performing team in partnership with the AWM.
