Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring excellent Guest service, efficient staff management, and effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in customer-centric retail.
• High school diploma.
• Experience with POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time/attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager with daily assignments and staff leadership.
• Hire and promote staff; provide feedback on selections.
• Lead shifts, ensure policy adherence, and address violations.
• Drive sales as Floor Leader by coaching Bear Builders and enhancing Guest experiences.
• Manage merchandising displays and store layout.
• Oversee inventory receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Develop a high-performing team delivering exceptional Guest experiences.
