Job summary

Build‑A‑Bear Workshop seeks a Chief Workshop Manager to drive store performance, guest satisfaction, and financial results. You will lead and develop a high‑performing team, coach through shifts, and ensure adherence to brand standards and policies.

You will oversee staff scheduling, payroll, inventory, and daily operations while coordinating with leadership to achieve targets and deliver an exceptional Guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer‑centric business.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time‑and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching a multi‑level team, ensuring a high‑quality Guest experience.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with leadership oversight.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with guidance from the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and escalate violations when necessary.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory, and store operations to maintain brand standards.
• Develop a high‑performing team in partnership with the Assistant Workshop Manager.
