Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in daily operations, guest service, staff management, and executing sales and marketing strategies. You will guide shifts, participate in hiring decisions, coach Bear Builders, manage inventory, and ensure a cohesive, inviting store environment that reflects the Experience First philosophy.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer-centric environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Support store manager with daily operations and guest service.
• Lead and coordinate staff shifts, assignments, and priorities.
• Participate in hiring and promotion decisions with feedback.
• Coach team to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver Experience First.
• Maintain brand displays, merchandise layouts, and store cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory processes, receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Develop a high-performing team focused on guest experience.
