Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Manager, Partnerships & Network Development to lead the West Coast Care Partnerships team and expand access to behavioral health services. You will coach the Care Partnerships Associates, shape territory strategy, and drive measurable referral growth with health systems and provider networks.

This player-coach role combines leadership with hands-on account support from outreach through ongoing partnership expansion, requiring data-driven decisions and collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network development, business development, healthcare outreach, sales, account management, provider relations, or a related field with a track record of driving referral or revenue growth.
• 2+ years of experience managing or coaching team members (people management experience preferred).
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, including with physicians, practice managers, and health system leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Care Partnerships team: hire, onboard, coach, and manage associates; conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and outreach coaching; set goals and track activity and outcomes.
• Own regional referral growth: manage West Coast territory plan and targets for new client visits, referral growth, and partnerships; allocate accounts for optimal coverage.
• Set territory strategy: guide research of markets and prioritize health systems, physician groups, primary care, OB/GYN, and specialty practices by potential, performance, and value.
• Drive outreach and reactivation: oversee outbound outreach by phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person engagement; re-engage inactive partners and expand across providers and locations.
• Support strategic accounts: build relationships with stakeholders at health systems and practices; join associates on high-value pursuits; serve as escalation point for partner issues.
• Improve the referral experience: coach partners to navigate referrals, reduce access barriers, and adopt tools like the Patient Referral Dashboard; surface recurring needs for fixes.
• Manage performance with data: use Salesforce, Looker, dashboards, and referral data to evaluate performance, forecast results, and ensure CRM integrity.
• Collaborate across Thriveworks: work with cross-functional teams to address partner needs and support growth; connect partners with internal resources.
• Contribute to Care Partnerships leadership: share West Coast insights, refine playbooks, and contribute to overall goals with other regional leaders.
