Job summary

Vontier is establishing a new enterprise-level Center of Excellence spanning Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to raise the rigor and consistency of how our operating companies plan, build, launch, and support products. The Vice President, Product Excellence will lead this COE, reporting to the Chief Innovation and Growth Officer.

This is a builder role and need to be a player coach as the enterprise team comes together.

Qualifications

• Experience building an enterprise standard/playbook across multiple business units.
• Strong roadmapping, portfolio strategy, and stage-gate processes.
• Ability to lead through influence with senior leaders not direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the COE with lean team and influence across businesses.
• Set enterprise standards for product quality, lifecycle governance, and NPD.
• Align roadmaps, investment cases, and portfolio decisions with enterprise strategy.
• Coach and develop top product leaders; build communities of practice.
