Job summary

Vontier is establishing a new Center of Excellence spanning Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing. The Vice President, Product Excellence will lead this COE, reporting to the Chief Innovation and Growth Officer.

This builder role requires a player-coach approach, influencing executives across businesses to adopt common standards, tools, and talent practices while respecting each market’s needs.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in product management, engineering, or product marketing leadership.
• Experience building an enterprise center of excellence across multiple businesses.
• Fluent in roadmapping, portfolio strategy, NPI/stage-gate, pricing, and VOC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center of Excellence and enterprise standard work across PM, Eng, and Product Marketing.
• Partner with CPOs/CTO to ensure rigorous roadmaps, investment cases, and portfolio decisions.
• Define enterprise standards for quality, reliability, and field performance and monitor them.
• Develop talent, communities of practice, and cross-business elevation of leadership.
