Vontier is establishing a new COE for Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to raise rigor and consistency across businesses. The Vice President, Product Excellence will lead this COE, reporting to the Chief Innovation and Growth Officer.

This builder role emphasizes influence over direct reporting, with responsibilities to set common standards, tools, and talent practices while respecting diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in product management, engineering, or product marketing leadership (12–15+ years).
• Experience building/scale a center of excellence or enterprise standard across multiple business units.
• Deep fluency in roadmapping, portfolio strategy, NPI/stage-gate, pricing, VOC programs.
• Ability to lead through influence with senior leaders who are not direct reports.
• Experience in industrial tech, manufacturing, or related B2B hardware/software.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% globally.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve the enterprise product operating system for roadmapping and portfolio cadence.
• Partner with CPOs and leaders to ensure rigorous, data-driven roadmaps and portfolios.
• Maintain shared tools, templates, and metrics to enable decision-ready reviews.
• Bridge product teams across businesses with corporate support and alignment.
• Define enterprise standards for product quality, reliability, and field performance.
• Collaborate with engineering/operations to close loops between field data and roadmaps.
• Lead programs to improve quality and time-to-resolution of critical issues.
• Champion AI practices across technical orgs and share best practices.
