Job summary

Vontier is establishing an enterprise Center of Excellence spanning Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing. The Vice President, Product Excellence will lead this COE and influence across businesses to set common standards, tools, and talent practices.

The role focuses on disciplined product line reviews, healthier NPD funnel, and leadership depth across the enterprise. Success comes from standing up a lean corporate team and partnering with CPOs, CTOs, and product marketing

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in product management, engineering, or product marketing leadership.
• Experience building/scaling enterprise centers of excellence or shared services.
• Deep fluency in roadmapping, portfolio strategy, NPD stage-gate, pricing, VOC programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise product operating system: roadmapping, portfolio governance, NPD cadence, product line reviews.
• Partner with CPOs/leadership to ensure data-driven roadmaps and investment decisions.
• Maintain shared tools, templates, and metrics for product line reviews.
• Bridge product teams across businesses with corporate teams to ensure alignment.
