Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry during patient prep, including preliminary testing and measurements. Training will be provided to learn vision testing in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to understand measurements.
• Personable and able to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, product, and services.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for pre-exam prep.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training and other preliminary testing where applicable.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
