Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician who supports Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients, conducting preliminary tests, and recording medical history. No optical experience?

You will receive training and hands-on guidance to learn the essentials of vision care while contributing to a best-in-class patient experience. Shifts include some weekends and evenings. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Detail oriented; work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Collaborative team player focused on patient experience.
• Healthcare/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for exams.
• Maintain patient flow to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with procedures during visits.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training and preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver seamless care.
