Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to handle inbound and outbound calls, supporting timely patient care and excellent service delivery. The role focuses on scheduling, clarifying services, insurance questions and payment processes within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be organized and a team player.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal driven.

Responsibilities

• Addresses patient inquiries about appointment scheduling, services, insurance coverage and payment methods.
• Gathers information from patients to determine priority of need and proper place of treatment.
• Participates in recall of patients inactive for a defined interval.
• Works with supervisor to meet goals such as scheduling and patient satisfaction.
• Counsels patients and answers questions related to procedures and billing.
