Job summary

EVERSANA seeks a Virtual Territory Business Manager (VTBM) to drive demand and patient access in ophthalmology via digital and remote engagements. You will educate retina specialists, ophthalmologists, and genetic counselors, build territory plans, and lead launch readiness with cross-functional teams.

Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, preferably in ophthalmology, with strong digital engagement and strategic account planning skills. This role is remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech or specialty healthcare sales, inside or virtual sales.
• Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred.
• Virtual pharmaceutical sales or omnichannel engagement experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of ophthalmology practices and market landscape.
• Knowledge of inherited retinal diseases and treatment pathways preferred.
• Ability to develop and manage strategic account plans in a virtual environment.
• Proven success in developing customer relationships and influencing treatment adoption through remote engagement.

Responsibilities

• Translate national brand strategy into territory business strategy and tactical plans.
• Drive product adoption through pre-call planning, listening, probing, and clinical messaging.
• Build knowledge of the disease state and product to deliver compelling clinical education.
• Conduct high-quality virtual engagements using approved promotional materials and compliant messaging.
• Establish relationships with ophthalmologists, retina specialists, IRD specialists, genetic counselors, and centers.
• Leverage analytics and insights to prioritize opportunities and maximize impact.
• Maintain CRM documentation of customer interactions, account plans, and territory activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute launch strategies and access solutions.
