Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking an Account Executive for our Public Sector Central Region. The role is virtual with frequent travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

You will generate new business using a consultative approach, building relationships with utility and public sector clients to deliver revenue with solid margins. You will work with leadership across teams to understand needs, craft financial solutions, and drive opportunities in K-12, higher education, and government markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Five or more (5+) years' industry experience selling large solutions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and develop leads with utility and public sector clients.
• Translate customer needs into feasible solutions with operations team involvement.
• Prepare and present professional proposals addressing customer needs and financial aspects.
• Maintain customer contact during installation to resolve additional needs and concerns.
• Monitor account plan progress including market conditions and competition.
