Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferred: Engineering degree in Bio Medical/Electrical/Mechanical or Medical Technology.
• Must reside in Virginia and have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; capable of independent work and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Represent Abbott Diagnostics to assigned customers.
• Provide on-site support to ADD customers.
• Support field personnel and district objectives.
• Mentor fellow service engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues described in the Field Service database.
• Maintain documentation adhering to the Quality System and regulatory guidelines.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance and installations.
• Travel within territory up to 75% and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
