Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Abbott Diagnostic Division customers across the United States. The role is remote with up to 75% travel, providing on-site support, preventive maintenance, installations and diagnostics for complex instruments.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, mentor peers, and ensure regulatory and quality system compliance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree in Bio Medical/Electrical/Mechanical or Medical Technology preferred.
• Experience interfacing with customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Abbott Diagnostic Division to its customers and provide on-site support.
• Support field personnel and District business objectives; mentor other FSRs.
• Troubling and resolving complaints reported by customers on complex instruments.
• Document resolutions per Quality System; follow regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance, installations and updates.
• Travel up to 75% and work within a cross-functional team.
