Job summary

Abbott Diagnostics is hiring a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support for diagnostic instruments across the United States. The role involves troubleshooting complex devices, installation, preventive maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and service teams.

You will mentor others, resolve customer issues promptly, and adhere to Abbott’s quality and regulatory standards. The position is remote with 50% travel, requiring residence in the Dustin, FL area or nearby, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferred: Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical engineering degree.
• Experience interfacing with customers is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Represent Abbott Diagnostics to customers; provide on-site support for ADD customers.
• Support field personnel and District business objectives.
• Mentor other FSRs and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer instrument issues; document resolutions.
• Follow Quality System and regulatory/compliance guidelines.
• Maintain safe work environment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with sales/marketing and other teams to address customer needs.
• Travel up to 50% and provide after-hours support when required.
