Abbott is hiring a Field Service Engineer II for a field-based, remote role supporting diagnostic instruments. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems, ensuring compliance and high customer satisfaction. You will manage your territory, plan visits, and collaborate across teams to meet business goals.

Travel up to 50% is required, with a base pay range of $26.50–$53.00 per hour. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, and strong troubleshooting and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain diagnostic systems, performing installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex instruments, document resolutions, and close calls on time.
• Own customer satisfaction, communicate proactively, and build relationships.
• Plan service visits, manage inventory, and support on-call rotation and training.
• Follow regulatory and safety guidelines and document audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other field staff.
• Meet service sales, cost, and KPI targets for assigned accounts.
• Use remote tools to maximize uptime and support certifications.
