Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte—The Dubois Center seeks a Client Services Representative to manage lobby operations, greet visitors, verify IDs, and coordinate parking while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced university setting.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, guiding guests, assisting with events, and ensuring security and compliance with campus policies. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment requiring exceptional service and professionalism.
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele, including university leadership and VIP guests.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, composure under pressure, and appropriate response to emergencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with established procedures (access, parking, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with Google Workspace apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily lobby and reception operations during assigned morning hours.
• Verify university IDs, manage visitor check-in, and follow building access and security protocols.
• Serve as primary contact for students, faculty, staff, leadership, VIP guests, and visitors.
• Coordinate VIP and visitor parking and communicate building policies and campus resources.
• Respond to emergencies following procedures and coordinate with Police and Public Safety.
