ABB Drive Products seeks a VFD Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to customers, end users, and internal teams. You will assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty evaluations for Low Voltage VFDs, 3-phase power, and control wiring. The role is hybrid (New Berlin, WI) with remote US options.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) plus 4 years of electrical/technical experience and strong English communication. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and drives.
• Experience supporting customers via phone and email.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFDs and related systems.
• Assist customers with drive programming, parameter configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales and product teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with warranty team for replacements and labor authorization.
• Document support cases and solutions using Salesforce and other tools.
• Stay current with VFD technologies and software updates.
