Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location veterinary deals. You will manage the full cycle from discovery to contract, targeting owners and regional operators across locations.

This is a remote, full-time role with a focus on strategic accounts that span multiple clinics and services. You will close $1M+ annually per large account, collaborating with our sales development and inbound team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to close large enterprise deals in multi-location setups.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers is a plus.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for large multi-location deals from discovery to close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators, and marketing leaders at client organizations.
• Expand deals to cover additional locations and services after signing.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build compelling proposals for key deals.
